This fight was basically a 15 minute sparring session, where Pierson got the better of most of the exchanges. Both guys BASICALLY look exactly like each other, except the color of their shorts, which made it kind of hard to tell which guy was which. In the end, I gave the first 2 rounds to Pierson, but couldn't have cared less who won, and all 3 judges agreed, giving the fight to Pierson, 29-28. This won't be a fight I'll want to watch again though.

This fight was boring, slow paced, and almost put me to sleep. Both guys just kept throwing soft jabs, moving slowly, not really doing any damage. I personally gave the fight to Magalhaes, because he pulled guard, and went for a leg lock in the first round. Other than that, absolutely nothing in this fight was interesting at all. I'm glad it's over, and I never want to see either of these guys fight again. Also, it's worth noting, after the fight, when they showed the highlights, it was JUST a video full of both guys missing all of their punches. Lame fight.

This fight was kind of pointless. Buddy Roberts basically just beat up Magalhaes in all 3 rounds, not really doing much damage, but mostly just landing more strikes and stuff. Magalhaes somehow thought he should have won the fight, but that's ridiculous. Buddy Roberts looked ok, but Magalhaes doesn't appear to have any purpose in the UFC.

This fight wasn't very good. I mean, it was a fast win, so that's always cool, but it was mostly just awkward. Salas kept shooting for ugly failed takedowns, and Means kept knocking him down with punches, over and over and over again, until eventually the referee just stopped the fight. I don't really know this Salas guy, but he seems EXTREMELY one dimensional, bringing ONLY wrestling, and nothing else, and that's just not going to cut it. Tim Means wins via first round KO.

Well, that was a decent undercard fight, I guess. Nothing special though. There was one moment where they were both swinging wild punches, and that was cool. Pague was able to take Papazian to the ground, and after wrestling around for a couple of minutes, Pague slowly inched his way onto Papazian's back, where he was able to lock on the rear-naked choke for the submission victory in the first round.

This was an extremely one-sided fight, which sucks, because I've always liked Garcia, but he got his ass handed to him for 15 minutes. Grice took him down in all 3 rounds, completely controlled him, and beat him up with ground & pound. Big win for Matt Grice, horrible fight for Garcia.

To be honest, I'm not sure how anyone scored this fight for Baczynski. I gave all 3 rounds to Benoist, ESPECIALLY the first two rounds, I thought he destroyed Baczynski. The third round was close, but I thought Benoist won MOST of that round as well, so what's up with these judges? ONE judge gave it to Benoist, 30-27 (like me), but the other two gave it to Baczynski, 29-28. Whatever, good fight for both fighters I guess.

This fight wasn't really very interesting at all. It was basically 15 minutes of Pierce trying to take Rocha to the ground, and succeeding a few times, and beating up Rocha while on the ground. Rocha didn't really have any offense at all, which was interesting, considering when they announced the winner, one judge gave the fight to Rocha, 30-27. It was later revealed that he fucked up, and scored the wrong corner, but yeah, that was funny. Good UNANIMOUS decision victory, by Mike Pierce.

Good fight! Both of these guys generally do a good job bringing the fight to their opponent, so I was happy to see them clash pretty hard here. For the most part, the fight was a boxing match, with Wineland busting up Jorgensen's face in the first round, and Jorgensen opening up a HUGE gash above Wineland's left eye with a knee in the second round. After nearly two rounds of boxing each other, Wineland landed a smooth right cross, knocking Jorgensen on his ass, and he followed it up with a few punches on the ground forcing the referee to stop the fight. Great fight by both guys, especially Eddie Wineland.

One punch knockout! YEAH! Mike Pyle is one of my favorite fighters, that barely gets any credit. This fight was basically just another boxing match (other than some general ground control by Pyle), but near the end of the first round, Neer started to pressure Pyle up against the cage, Pyle threw a big right cross, and knocked Neer the fuck out! Two in a row! Let's go!

This whole night for some reason is coming across as a bunch of boxing matches to me. Maybe I've watched too many fights in the past few days, I'm ready to see some grappling though! With that being said, after boxing with each other for almost the entire fight, Brenneman tried to show off his wrestling skills, and they're solid, but once they were on the ground, Silva was able to get on his back and locked on a rear-naked choke, forcing Brenneman to tap. Good showing by Erick Silva.

I understand that their fights are all epic & shit, and that I should have been on the edge of my seat the entire time, but to be honest, I had a hard time staying awake during this fight. It was really good, just like their first fight, but I'm still a little pissed that they didn't settle it properly in their first fight. Either way, Johnson clearly won the first & third rounds, McCall won the second round, and the judges gave it to Demetrious Johnson. So, there you go... Glad we're finally finished with this fight, so we can move on to the championship bout between Demetrious Johnson & Joseph Benavidez.
