This was a pretty good fight, where both guys just kind of wildly swung for the fences the entire fight. I thought Blanco won the first two rounds, by landing more strikes, and I gave the third round to Hooker, for nearly finishing Blanco (he collapsed once the third round ended). So yeah, Hooker seemed to be in slightly better shape at the end of the fight, but I still gave the first two rounds to Blanco, and all 3 judges agreed.

Holy shit! This was a really good fight. Tokudome took the fight to the ground in the first round, and basically won that round by controlling Case. The second round, Case got kicked in the balls, so took a minute to regain his composure. Once the fight started back up, Case punched Tokudome in the head a few times, knocking him on his ass, and Case chased him, locked on a TIGHT guillotine, almost ripped Tokudome's head off, and put him to sleep. This was a GREAT UFC debut for Johnny Case.

This was a fucking fight! Kang pretty much beat the shit out of Tanaka in the first round, controlling him the entire round, grappling the shit out of him, etc... Kang just looked like he was on another level. The second round was pretty close, I think a lot of people probably gave it to Tanaka, but I personally gave it to Kang JUST BARELY. The third round was also close, action nonstop, etc... I gave the third round to Tanaka, but it could have gone either way. In the end, I'm happy that Kang won, because I thought he was the better fighter, but I would have understood if the judges would have gone in favor of Tanaka as well. Really close fight, and really fun fight overall.

This was a pretty fun fight. FINISH HIM!!! Sato clearly didn't want to stand with Lim, because Lim was way taller, and clearly the better striker, so Sato laid down randomly, and Lim just looked at him like he was stupid, so Sato stood back up. Sato then shot for a takedown, pressed Lim against the fence, got punched in the head, and was spiked with elbows for several seconds, and I'm pretty sure he went unconscious, a few seconds before the referee was able to stop the fight. Hyun Gyu Lim looked pretty solid in this fight.

This fight was pretty decent. Both guys kind of brawled in the first round, I was sort of leaning towards giving the round to Sicilia, but it's hard to score against a dude that smiles the entire time, like Katsunori Kikuno. It doesn't really matter how you scored the first round though, because in the second round, Kikuno was able to lock on a tight rear-naked choke, forcing Sicilia to submit. Nice win by Kikuno.

This fight was pretty much an ass beating, where Kanehara made his UFC debut, taking Caceres to the ground, and dominating him for the first two rounds. Caceres started to win back some points in the third round, but there was no way he could come back from how badly Kanehara had beat him in the first two rounds, showing great striking skills & great grappling skills. So yeah, I'm really looking forward to seeing Kanehara fight again in the UFC, because Caceres is a tough dude, and he had his ass handed to him.

Fuck yeah! I think Kyoji Horiguchi might be my new favorite fighter at 125. This guy is a fucking beast! He pretty much came at Reyes, from the start of the fight, nonstop, throwing wild punches, looking to take his head off, and he punched the shit out of him, connecting over and over again, until the referee was forced to stop the fight. Horiguchi BEAT THAT ASS! I can't wait to see this dude fight again!

This was a hell of a fight, but the decision was pretty poor. Walsh pretty much beat the living shit out of Kunimoto for the first two rounds, I mean KICKED HIS ASS. The third round, Walsh got absolutely dominated by Kunimoto, so in the end, I gave the fight to Walsh, 29-28. It COULD have been a draw maybe? But I don't see how two of the judges gave the fight to Kunimoto, other than the fact that they're in Japan, so he was sort of the hometown favorite or whatever. But yeah, great fight by both fighters.

This was a pretty good female fight, between one of the most popular female fighters in the UFC (Miesha Tate), and one of the most popular female fighters in Japan (Rin Nakai). It sort of sucks to see Rin Nakai's insane undefeated streak come to an end, via a decision, BUT, Miesha Tate pretty much controlled the pace of the fight, landed a lot more strikes, and was able to pretty much nullify the grappling offense of Nakai. So yeah, I gave the fight to Miesha Tate, 30-27, and pretty much everybody agrees with that score I think.

Holy shit, Akiyama made his big return to MMA after a couple of years away from the sport, and he fucking DESTROYED Amir, in all 3 rounds, he took him to the ground and just beat the living fuck out of him. This was a hardcore ass beating. VERY one-sided fight. I think Amir took this fight on short notice, but still, that was embarrassing, Akiyama looked fucking amazing in this fight.

Well then, there you have it, maybe this Jury guy is legit after all! Takanori Gomi is a legend in Japan, so Jury comes to Japan, and knocks him the fuck out in under 2 minutes, extending his winning streak to 6 in the UFC, and 15-0 for his overall professional MMA record. How is this dude only ranked at #9? What the fuck are these guys talking about? Personally, I had him ranked at #4 going into this fight, and I bumped him up to #2 after this fight. Give this dude a title shot, or AT LEAST some sort of contender match.

Well shit... I sort of wanted Roy Nelson to win this fight, but I have to admit, that was fucking impressive. I gave the first round to Mark Hunt, but it was close. The second round, Nelson went crazy with a takedown, and I thought he was off to a good start, but Hunt rocked him with a big punch to the nose, and followed that up a few seconds later with a punch to the chin, planting Nelson flat on his face. Pretty awesome win for Mark Hunt. He HAS to be getting close to a title shot at this point, eh?
