This fight started kind of slow in the first round, but once Angela Hill turned up the intensity a bit, she started crushing Kagan's face with huge knees, and pretty much beat the crap out of her for the last 11 minutes of the fight. So yeah, clear decision victory for Angela Hill. Really nice UFC debut. I felt kind of bad that the audience was almost completely empty for this fight though.

This was a pretty one-sided fight, with Aisling Daly grinding out the fight, taking Chambers to the ground, pretty much overpowering her the entire fight, and eventually finishing the fight with the armbar at the end of the first round. The win was tainted a little bit though, by Daly missing weight by a couple of pounds. So yeah, nice UFC debut, but it's a good thing she finished the fight, otherwise the UFC might have come down hard on her for missing weight in her debut.

This fight was pretty fun to watch, mostly because Tecia Torres is like a 115 pound female Mike Tyson, and Angela Magana just isn't a very pleasant person in general (based on random interviews I've heard her do before the fight). So with that being said, I was pretty excited to watch Tecia Torres beat the crap out of "Your Majesty" for 15 solid minutes. It's also worth noting that Magana's nickname is probably the worst nickname I've ever heard. So yeah, awesome UFC debut for Tecia Torres, and personally, I'd rather not see Magana fight in the UFC again, all she did was run, and get punched in the face and kicked in the stomach repeatedly.

This was a pretty great fight. When Joanne Calderwood talks, she seriously sounds like the nicest, softest person in the world. But when she fights, she's a fucking beast! Ham has one hell of a chin though, so this fight basically consisted of Calderwood beating the living fuck out of Ham for the entire fight, and Calderwood's nose got smashed pretty hard, leaving the cage a bloody mess. In the end, this was a really great performance by both fighters, especially considering Ham took the fight on short notice, and congrats to Calderwood for securing the unanimous decision victory in her UFC debut.

Well that sucks... I'm a fan of Bec Rawlings, but I've only seen her fight twice (outside of TUF), and she lost both of those fights. I was kind of pushing for her to win this fight, with Clark winning the second round, Rawlings winning the third round, and the first round was close, I gave it to Rawlings, because I'm biased, but most other people gave it to Clark, and I can't really argue. Decent fight, but I would have liked to see someone go for the finish.

Well shoot... I was really rooting for Lisa Ellis in this fight, and she showed some really great Jiu-Jitsu skills, showing a REALLY active offensive guard, and she was basically non-stop action from the start of the fight to the end. The problem is, Herrig just overpowered her, pretty much kicked her ass in the first round, and then finished the fight in the second round with a tight armbar. Herrig looked a lot better than I expected, and overall, this was probably the best fight of the night so far.

Blah, 3 fights in a row that the person I wanted to win, ended up losing. This was a close fight though. I gave the first round to Penne, the second round definitely went to Markos, and the third round probably went to Penne, but I gave it to Markos based on the fact that she was still going for submissions during the last few seconds of the round, while Penne was just kind of stalling and waiting for the decision. So yeah, decent fight, but sucks that Markos lost.

This was a pretty decent fight. Medeiros seemed to have sharper striking for the entire fight, but Proctor put up a decent fight, and even hit Medeiros in the balls, and then followed it with a sloppy guillotine choke, which mostly looked like it was just being thrown out there to try to cover up the groin shot. In the end though, Medeiros landed a brutal spinning back kick to the stomach, causing Proctor to crumble to the ground in pain, and Medeiros jumped on him, locking on the guillotine choke for the submission victory. Really great display of skills by Yancy Medeiros.

FUCK. This was hands down the best fight on the card up until this point, it was SUPER exciting in the first round, with Daron Cruickshank violently beating the shit out of Noons. Noons was hanging in there, but he was basically taking a beating. It's worth noting that Noons poked Cruickshank in the eye in the first round. The second round started, it looked like it was going to continue to be exciting, and then Noons POKED THE FUCK out of Cruickshank's eye again, cutting it open kind of badly, so the fight ended up being stopped. They officially called it a no contest, but I'm going to go ahead and give the victory points to Cruickshank, since he dominated the first round, and the fight was stopped because he was fouled, so... Congrats to Cruickshank for the win on MY scorecard.

BOOM! Fight of the night right here! Charles Oliveira as usual, was fucking insane, throwing wild strikes, and incredible submissions for the first two rounds, so in my opinion he was the pretty clear winner. The REALLY crazy thing though, was how Jeremy Stephens escaped 100 submission attempts by one of the best submission fighters in the UFC. Not to mention, Stephens never stopped coming forward, he continued to beat Oliveira's ass all the way until the bell rang, so... This was one hell of a fight by both fighters, but congrats to Oliveira for a hard fought unanimous decision victory.

FUCK. That was a great fight, but I'm a huge Rose Namajunas fan, so that's awfully disappointing seeing her lose such a huge fight. BUT! She was scrappy as fuck in this fight, throwing her usual wild kicks, spinning backfists, nonstop offense as usual. The problem is, Carla Esparza is a terrific wrestler, and she was able to control all 3 rounds, especially the last two, where she eventually dominated Namajunas on the ground, finishing her with a rear-naked choke early in the third round. Really great fight by both girls though, and I look forward to seeing where this weight division goes from here. Congrats to Esparza for becoming the first UFC Champion at 115.
