This was a pretty good fight... Mike Brown tried to take control of the fight, by demonstrating his wrestling abilities, but he had trouble keeping Genki Sudo's unorthadox style under control... After a bit of wrestling around, Genki Sudo tried to lock on the triangle choke, and pretty much had it locked on, but Mike Brown was determined to fight his way out of it by delivering a bunch of elbows to Genki's face... Well, that almost cleared the submission, but it wasn't quite enough, as Mike Brown eventually was forced to tap out to the armbar... Genki Sudo is a fun fighter to watch, and Mike Brown put up one hell of a fight...

Big Fat Jon Wiezorek came out running like a bull, trying to take down Wade Shipp with the "One Trick Pony" fighting style, since Wiezorek obviously didn't want to stand with the Muay Thai fighter, and well, he couldn't take him down... So Wade Shipp beat the shit out of Wiezorek for the first 4 minutes of the first round... Then, Wade Shipp got tired, so he let Wiezorek take him to the ground, Wiezorek mounted Shipp's back, and then started playing patty cake on the back of Shipp's head, with some of the weakest looking punches I've ever seen... I'm pretty sure Shipp decided to take a nap for the rest of the round, expecting to get back to the feet during the second round, but while he was napping, the referee said "If you don't defend yourself, I'll stop the fight!!!" So Wade Shipp just laid there, like the mat had stolen his nose or something, and Wiezorek wins by referee stoppage... Wade Shipp has great striking ability, but no cardio whatsoever... Wiezorek has nothing on his side, except for a bunch of fat... This fight started out great, but ended lame as fuck...

This was a pretty good fight too... Mike Kyle took the fight to the ground, and Wes Sims displayed some great submission skills, almost locking on several different kinds of chokes... Eventually, after spending the majority of the first round on the ground, the referee stood them up, Wes Sims complained that Kyle bit him, and then Mike Kyle knocked him the fuck out... So, Mike Kyle wins the fight by KO in the first round, but there may be some controversy about whether or not he cheated to get that win...

Robbie Lawler is known for his insane striking ability & his short fuse... Nick Diaz on the other hand, is all about the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu... So everyone assumed that either Nick Diaz would get knocked out, or Robbie Lawler would get caught in a submission... Instead, Nick Diaz ran around taunting Lawler during the entire first round, talking all kinds of mad shit, and eventually, Robbie Lawler got pissed & sloppy, and Nick Diaz caught him with a shot to the chin, knocking out Robbie Lawler in the second round... This was a pretty great fight, especially since Nick Diaz put on a really good show of arrogance & strategy...

Cabbage was pretty much just a punching bag for Andrei Arlovski in this fight... Andrei Arlovski dished out a LOT of punishment, so I guess from that standpoint, this was a fun fight to watch... But Cabbage didn't really have any offense at all, so he pretty much just got beat on for the first round, and then a little bit into the second round, before he eventually just fell on his ass and rolled backwards... So, I guess Andrei Arlovski wins by KO...

This was a great fight... Both fighters displayed pretty solid striking abilities while standing, but the slight edge there went to Yves Edwards... Both fighters showed some pretty solid ground skills, but the pretty sizeable edge there, went to Hermes Franca... Since most of the real action, happened on the ground, in the form of submission attempts, and submission reversals, I would have given the fight to Hermes Franca, but after 3 rounds of mixed action, the judges gave it to Yves Edwards by split decision... Close fight, but I slightly thought that Hermes Franca should have won... *shrugs*... Either way is fine with me I guess... I'm not going to argue the decision...

This was a pretty fun fight... The first round consisted mostly of both fighters standing up, striking, back & forth, close fight, etc... Then during the second round, it was more of the same, but a little bit more aggressive, until eventually, Chris Lytle took down Tiki Ghosn & locked on an old school "headlock" style choke, forcing Ghosn to tap out... Tiki didn't accept the loss very well, but it was obvious that Lytle was excited about it... Great fight for Lytle... Tiki still has some work to do...

After years of Tito Ortiz ducking Chuck Liddell, Tito finally was forced to step into the octagon with Chuck, to see who would get the next shot at the Light Heavyweight Championship... Tito said "Alright, fine, I'm going to show you that I can stand toe-to-toe with Chuck Liddell!!!" And then he got knocked the fuck out in the beginning of the second round... The first round was a bit of a "nervous" round... The second round was all Chuck Liddell, absolutely dominating Tito Ortiz... This was a great fight... I'll admit, I hate Tito, and Chuck is my favorite fighter... So, this may be a bit biased... But still, a barrage of punches, and a few seconds later, Tito found himself laying on the floor up against the fence, while Chuck was doing the victory dance... That's all that really matters...
