Chandler started this fight by slamming Page to the ground QUICKLY, he got into Page's half guard, and then beat the shit out of him with HUGE elbows, opening him up for the guillotine choke, which he used to force Page to submit just 57 seconds into the first round. Really nice submission victory for Michael Page, especially considering he just won a fight 2 weeks ago against Scott Stapp, in just 1:57 of the first round. Michael Chandler is quickly making a name for himself in Bellator.

They kept calling Wallhead "Judo Jim", but he didn't really show off his Judo credentials at all in this fight. They mostly just stood and boxed with each other for most of the fight. The first round was a close round of boxing, with both guys landing some pretty solid combinations. The second round was another round of boxing, with both guys standing & trading with each other. Thomas shot in for a couple of takedowns, but Wallhead easily stuffed all of them. I have Wallhead ahead, 2-0, going into the final round. It's been a close fight so far though, and could be going either way. They continued to trade strikes for the first half of the final round, until Wallhead took Thomas to the ground. I ended up scoring this fight 30-27 for Jim Wallhead. All 3 judges gave him the fight, 29-28.

These guys traded a few strikes, and then Makovsky took West down 90 seconds into the first round. West landed some nice elbows to the body from his guard, but Makovsky postured up, and they both stood up. Makovsky shot in for another slick takedown, and planted West on his ass. They stood back up and West punched Makovsky, knocking him to the ground in the final seconds of the round, but I still scored that round for Makovsky.
West threw a kick early in the second round, Makovsky caught it, and took him to the ground. He punched him a few times, and then they stood back up. Makovsky took him to the ground again, but West tied him up in sort of a guarded crucifix or something. They continued to exchange awkward positions on the ground for the rest of the round, with Makovsky trying to beat up West, and West mostly just clinching & stalling. I have Makovsky ahead 2-0 going into the third round.
Makovsky continued to take West down throughout the rest of the fight, pounding on him on the ground a little bit, with West looking way too comfortable just laying on his back for most of the fight. In the end, West did a decent job protecting himself on the ground for the most part, but since it was a clear situation of "Offense vs. Defense", with Makovsky almost always being the offensive one, then I scored this fight 50-45, in favor of Zach Makovsky.

Konrad unloaded a Goldberg style spear early in the first round, but Grove popped right back up once they hit the ground. Grove threw a big left hand, and Konrad shot through him with another deep takedown. From there, Konrad sort of smothered Grove for a couple of minutes from half mount. He slowly moved into full mount, smothering the shit out of Grove. Konrad's stomach looked like an octopus swallowing Grove's torso. Konrad then locked on a keylock, cranked the shit out of it, and forced Grove to tap with 15 seconds left in the round. Cole Konrad is now the first ever Bellator Heavyweight Champion.
